    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
        • Develop long and short-range procurement strategies that ensure quality material supply with minimal cost.
        • Negotiate prices and delivery schedules to ensure lowest price and minimum inventory consistent with purchasing economics.
        • Responsible for day-to-day management of suppliers/vendors to ensure on-time delivery and quality of purchased items.

        • Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
        • Able to perform cost/price analysis.
        • Act as liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems.
        • Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as necessary.
        • Prepare reports, attend meetings and respond to special assignments.
        • Negotiate and manage long term pricing agreements on critical commodities.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
        • Ensures that proper inspection procedures are in place and followed for each part.
        • Collaborates with Quality Control team to support with complex GD&T inspection and interpretation.
        • Develops implements and tracks training of all Quality Assurance inspection personnel in procedures and equipment utilized by inspectors. These include, but are not limited to, metrology equipment and part specific Quality Work Instructions.
        • Collaborates with sales and customer service teams to manage customer complaints and customer returns by acting as a facilitator for the Material Review Board. Generates a written response to customer’s request for corrective action.

        • Collaborates with the Production Supervisor, Project Coordination Supervisor, and the Manufacturing Engineer/Service Supervisor to implement process improvements through the use of Statistical Process Control and process monitoring.
        • Collaborates with Quality Systems Manager in maintaining ISO 9001 & AS 9100 registrations and regulatory conformance.
        • Responsible for performing on-site quality audits when required.
        • Implements certified supplier programs and supplied data agreements, with customers and vendors, assuring effective and efficient systems of gathering; analyzing and the transferring of data are in place.
        • Develops and updates customer/part specific Quality Work Instructions for receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
        • Assists with Quality Inspection and Finishing as demand requires.
        • Responsible for driving proper presentation and cleanliness of QC area at all times.

    Summary: The Production Administrator is required to interface regularly and effectively with external customers and internal teams with timely follow ups, escalations and resolutions of internal and external customers/Engineers requests/issues.
