At Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, we’re excited to offer Digital ABS Plus™. The latest evolution of the popular PolyJet photopolymer Digital ABS™ (aka Greenfire), Digital ABS Plus has a new ivory color and better mechanical properties. 

Digital ABS Plus is designed to simulate standard ABS plastics by combining high-temperature resistance with toughness. Suitable for parts that require PolyJet technology’s highest possible impact resistance and shock absorption, Digital ABS Plus significantly improves the mechanical performance of parts and prototypes for design verification and functional performance testing.

Digital ABS Plus offers better impact strength with high-temperature resistance, toughness and superior finish. The material opens new opportunities for PolyJet parts that have more robust requirements. The material can work for rapid prototyping snap-fit parts for high or low temperature use, functional designs with multi-material versatility and flexibility, molds, manufacturing tools, electrical parts and more.

 PolyJet Performance

PolyJet uses high-resolution ink-jet technology to produce parts economically by jetting layers of liquid photopolymer as thin as 16 microns (0.0006”). The technology can build multiple parts in a matter of hours, enabling product development teams to receive imperative feedback, revise, and reiterate within days.

PolyJet materials offer the versatility to allow team members to see, touch, feel, test, analyze and use prototypes as the final product will be used. These prototypes are tested or used in trials to gauge their success and create new iterations.
